Gloria Agyare is an environmentalist, food systems consultant, and Chevening Scholar whose career sits at the intersection of climate, food, and youth empowerment. With six years of hands-on work spanning community agroforestry projects, international climate negotiations, and policy advocacy, she has built a reputation as one of Africa's most compelling emerging voices on sustainable food systems and climate justice. She is currently an Advisory board member for Food for All Africa; the host of The Food Discourse, a platform driving meaningful dialogue toward a sustainable food future, and a Senior Fellow of the Aspen Institute's IMPACT West Africa Fellowship, in partnership with Niyel and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She holds an MA in Food and Development from the University of Sussex, where she was also named a Spirit of Sussex Award winner and Most Inspiring Leader in the UK. Gloria's impact is tangible: she has empowered over 2,200 community members through food, climate, and nature-based projects, and engaged 11,000+ young people through education and capacity building programmes across Ghana. At COP28 in Dubai, as a UNDP-funded delegate and panelist, she worked directly with the COP28 Presidency and catering committee to ensure two-thirds of meals served were plant-based, influencing what 70,000+ delegates ate in the name of climate action. She serves as a member of the UNFCCC-YOUNGO Food and Agriculture Working Group, and the World Bank Group Youth Consultation Group for Ghana's Country Partnership Framework. A sought-after speaker and advocate, Gloria brings both the urgency of the frontlines and the rigour of policy into every room she enters.
