Hello, I'm Zainab!
My name is Zainab Ahmed Lukuta, I do organic and permaculture Agriculture in my village (Kibanda), Kucheza District in Tanga Region. What inspired me to do it is the need to feed my family healthy diet since most of produce in the market are sold for business interest where lots of farmers use chemicals to boost production. I have several fruit trees like mangoes, oranges, coconut, lemon , dragon fruits, pomegranate, papaya and more, I have cassava, maize etc and I keep chicken, ducks, goat and rabbit. My vision is to see one day a lot of young people get involved in doing Agriculture through it's different ways like from farming, value addition, transportation, seed production etc and it's possible if we work together and aim at having a healthier community.
