Hello, I'm Sarfoh!
Hello, I’m Sarfoh — a Ghanaian Climate Adaptation Professional, Professional Master of Ceremonies (MC), and Child and Youth Development Advocate passionate about advancing climate policy, governance, and sustainable development across Africa.
My work is deeply rooted in promoting youth leadership, community resilience, and agroecology-driven sustainable agriculture. Over the years, I have contributed to and led impactful initiatives including Youth in Leadership and Adaptation, Children for Climate Action, and Youth and Farmers in Agroecology, all aimed at empowering young people and communities to become active drivers of climate action and sustainable transformation.
I am particularly interested in shaping inclusive climate policies, strengthening adaptation systems, and amplifying youth voices within local, national, and global development conversations.
My Story
As Solomon Yamoah, Country Engagement Director of 3Ts, aptly stated, “Innovation is key, and young people are key to that innovation.” This philosophy has profoundly shaped my journey and continues to guide my work in climate action and sustainable development.
My environmental advocacy journey began at the age of seven, after participating in an environmental sustainability awareness programme that sparked a lifelong commitment to understanding the relationship between development and environmental stewardship. That early exposure ignited a deep passion for building resilient communities and advancing sustainable solutions.
Driven by this purpose, I pursued studies in Agriculture, Journalism, and Climate Adaptation to equip myself with the knowledge and tools needed to create meaningful impact. Through these interdisciplinary specializations, I have trained over 200 young people in Climate Adaptation, empowered 30 young farmers in Agroecology, and educated more than 3,000 children on climate change and environmental sustainability.
Beyond grassroots engagement, I had the privilege of co-developing the world’s first National Youth Climate Adaptation Strategy, which has been integrated into Ghana’s National Adaptation Plans — a milestone that underscores the importance of youth inclusion in national climate governance.
I remain deeply inspired by the power of well-designed policies and community-centered solutions to transform lives, strengthen resilience, and address the evolving needs of society.
